“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
It is much easier to learn skills to prevent problems before they occur than it is to treat them once they have become full blown issues. These skills and preventative measures can be incorporated into your therapy appointment, taken as a class or you can schedule time to simply work on learning and planning to address upcoming changes.
Learn Infant Massage
Studies show that parents who massage their babies have a decreased incidence of depression and anxiety and an increase in satisfying interactions with their baby. As a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, I can teach you how to massage your baby.
Infant massage instruction can be included in your therapy session or as part of a class being offered. Infant massage is more than simply providing massage to your baby. It is about connection. You will get to know your baby and understand how to use massage time as a tool for bonding and relating.
